Who We Are
Our Boys and Girls Pack meets at St. Francis of Assisi in West Des Moines, Iowa. We are part of the Mid-Iowa council in the Twin Rivers district. If you are interested in joining or learning more about the Cub Scout Pack at St. Francis, we would love to talk to you!

Cub Scout Pack 888 provides multiple opportunities of fun and excitement for our scouts. All activities are designed with the scout oath and law in mind. At Cub Scout Pack 888, we help boys and girls develop diverse skills they can use for a lifetime. From fundraising to camping trips, we have a variety of programs that are available to all.
Fundraising Opportunities
Cub Scout Pack 888 participates each fall in the Mid Iowa Council's Popcorn fundraising event. Scouts have both an individual target and a collective pack target and are able to work on being courteous, trustworthy, and brave - all points in the cub scout law. Fundraising dollars help our pack with things such as scout handbooks, neckerchiefs, camping, and all other pack activity costs.
Pack and Den Meetings
At Cub Scout Pack 888, we encourage all of our scouts to attend the pack and den meetings regularly. We host a variety of activities the support the scouting program and help them earn their badges of rank. Typically our activities focus on being fun, hands on learning opportunities for new skill development.
